“St Boniface Way Stage Two” Stage Two takes us from Newton St Cyres along the river Creedy and through lovely countryside to the ancient church in Upton Pyne where we have a coffee stop.
We continue to and through Stoke Woods and onwards to Duryard Valley Park and then Exeter University. We walk through the beautiful University grounds to the Mary Harris Chapel.
From there we walk through some of the quieter parts of the city before reaching our goal: the Cathedral.
There are frequent buses back to Newton St Cyres if you need them. Bring a flask and a picnic lunch.
This is the more challenging of the two stages, in terms of length, terrain and hilliness.
We found some of the paths were somewhat overgrown, so suggest long trousers (or overtrousers if you are wearing shorts) for these sections.
Please book with walk leaders Penny and Paul Kurowski – 01395 742942, 07792619748 or [email protected] There is no limit on numbers, we just like to know who is coming
