There is free parking in the area, eg, by Exmouth AFC Football Club.

We will walk up beside the River Exe with plenty of opportunity to see a wide variety of water birds. On into pretty Lympstone village where we will stop by the Marina for a coffee break and then on up beside the Estuary, passing Lympstone Marine Camp, through Exton following the cycle path - anyone wanting to leave the group and go to Darts Farm at this point can do so, while the rest of us continue to the Bowling Green Nature Reserve and along the Goat Walk into Topsham ending at the Lighter Inn on Topsham Quay. Picnic tables beside the river or plenty of eating places for lunch, possibly followed by Christmas shopping, and then bus or train back to Exmouth.
