Sidmouth Arbotetum (Sidmouth Tree Trail & Salcombe Regis Walking Trail)

Catch 157 Bus (Budleigh Salterton 10.13) arriving at Sidmouth Triangle for an 11am start, 7 miles. West Hill, Budleigh Salterton is closed for roadworks so the bus will be turning left at Knowle Hill, right into Bedlands Lane, right into a Moor Lane and right at the end on to Station Road. Then it will turn around at the public hall and resume normal service towards Sidmouth.

 Gentle but undulating and sustained walk along these two trails spotting the many interesting trees. About 3 to 4 hrs with retail therapy opportunities at the end. Please bring packed lunch for cliff top stop, camera (bottle of wine for best photo!!) and your well-thumbed copy of the eye spy book of British trees or equivalent. There will probably be an extension up Peak Hill for keen walkers if the weather is fine.
